■会長の時間
Good evening, everyone. I am happy to meet you, Taipei Huashan Rotary club members.
Welcome to Osaka. I am Mieko Nakane, this years president of the Osaka Universal City Rotary club.
We lost touch because of the COVID-19 situation, but It is wonderful to finally meet you. We deeply appreciate you visiting Japan in May 2016 and attending our clubs 15th anniversary celebration. And the following year, in April 2017,a total of 13 members from our club had the pleasure of attending the Taipe Huashan RCs 10th anniversary ceremony.
We were so warmly welcomed during our visit and will never forget the wonderful hospitality we received. It was such a fantastic time. And it is hard to believe that was already eight yeras ago.
I imagine the membership has changed quite a bit since then, so I had like to take this opportunity to introduce the members of our Osaka Universal City Rotary Club, one by one.

Mitsuo Fukushima Patent attorney He is good at Go Tsutomu Hashimoto Sister Club Chair He is also a singer
Hiroyuki Hayashi Community Service Chair Tadashi Inoue He is a miracle golfer
Hirofumi Ikeyama He was the president we visited in Taiwan in 2017
Mitsuhiro Matsuura He joined the Rotary this fiscal year. He is good at Golf too
Suji Nakai Legal Document Specialist Yuji Ono He is a very fresh member He joined in last month
Yoko Hojo International Service Chair EE Kyou Yoneyama Scholar of this year
Janet Poon she is from Hong Kong Yukio Sada Immediate Past President
Takashi Sasada He went to Taiwan in 2017, too Keiko Tatsuoka She also went to Taiwan in 2017
Katsumi Wake He came from Okayama Prefecture just for todays party
Syu Ekigun She is Mr. Lees wife. They came from Tokyo to be our interpreter

拡大例会 ～ 台北華山ロータリークラブをお迎えして ～ （4月18日）
姉妹クラブである台北華山ロータリークラブからＥＸＰＯフェスタに参加するため１９名が来日されました。
本日は、１７名のメンバーをお迎えして「拡大例会」を開催いたしました。
２０１４年の姉妹クラブ締結より、周年行事などにはお互いに行き来をして交流を深めてきましたが、コロナ禍もあって２０１６年５月以来、約１０年ぶりの来日となりました。
やはり直接に会っての交流は嬉しいもので、元米山奨学生の李くん夫妻も通訳に駆けつけてくれて、各テーブルに笑顔の輪ができました。また、ビンゴゲームでは両クラブメンバーが大いに盛り上がり、和やかな拡大例会となりました。
